Ben’s 18th was an absolute blast at Vesbar in Somerville. From the first track to the last, the dance floor filled fast and stayed that way. I was booked for a 3-hour DJ set and leaned into high-energy party tunes with a few throwback favourites to keep every generation smiling. Music & Atmosphere
The brief was simple: keep the energy up and get people dancing. I built the set around upbeat pop, dance and R&B, layering smooth transitions and well-timed drops to keep momentum. We mixed in a few requests from Ben and mates, and I read the room to hold the floor right through.
