Huge Monday Couple Appreciation for Sara & Ben. I looked after the full soundtrack — live acoustic for their ceremony and cocktail hour, then DJ & MC to bring the party home. From the first chord to the final chorus, the brief was simple: keep the energy high and the floor full. That’s exactly how it went.
Music & Atmosphere
We started with an intimate acoustic ceremony, including a beautiful aisle moment to “Amazed” (Drew Jacobs), then eased into sunlit cocktails before opening up the reception. Once the formalities were wrapped, I jumped behind the decks and kept the momentum with party edits, sing-alongs and a few requested favourites — a packed dance floor right to the last track.
- Live acoustic ceremony & cocktail hour
- Full DJ + MC reception for seamless pacing
- First dancefloor surge within minutes of opening
- Couple’s must-plays woven through without killing momentum
About the Venue
Set beneath the iconic North Geelong smokestack inside a restored boiler house at 1915, this venue blends heritage brickwork with a soaring, modern fit-out — and multiple event spaces to shape the day your way. It’s a genuinely unique backdrop for a ceremony, photos and a big dance-floor finish.
